About Truva

You read the label. We read it harder.

Truva is a small California company started by a dog owner who got tired of the front of the bag. Grain free on every label. "Premium" on every shelf. Proprietary blends that hide the ratios. The panel on the back told a different story, and reading it took work most people do not have time for. So we made that our job.

What the Standard is

The Truva Standard is a written, public, pass or fail test with five checks: named animal protein first, honest about what it is, nothing we cannot defend, recall record checked, and true value per dollar. Every product page shows which checks it passed and why. Nothing on this shelf paid to be here. READ THE STANDARD

What we carry today

Dog nutrition and daily care, and only for dogs. Complete and balanced food, including freeze dried and baked options. Single ingredient treats from small US makers. Dental care for daily brushing. Daily vitamins. Every item was checked against the Standard before it went up, and we check again every year.

Where we are going

Later in 2026 we will release our own daily chew, made to the Standard with the full formula printed on the label. Same five checks, no exceptions for ourselves.
